A simple port of Andre Michelle’s “Tone Matrix” to the iPad, the user touches squares to cause them to light up and play sounds. The vertical position of a square on the grid determines its pitch and its horizontal location determines when it is played. The program uses 16 prerecorded sound files which are played at the appropriate times.
Tone Matrix was developed internally for the Drexel MET-Lab and is not available publicly.
