Lost in Sorrow, which was in development from 2008 to 2009, was an especially ambitious and promising project, a unique RPG that extended far beyond RPG Toolkit’s capabilities and involved custom designing and coding the entire game engine using the built in programming language. It was also an experience to manage an international team of artists and musicians with varying backgrounds. Development stopped when the lead artist/writer dropped out of the project. While work has not been done on the game since, all resources related to the game have been saved, and attempts to make another game which would use the innovative gameplay mechanics have been considered multiple times.
