Amazon’s Developer Portal is a the center of all information related to developing for Amazon’s appstore, available on all Android Devices.
As a Software Development Engineer for the Developer Portal team, I worked on projects that made it easier for Amazon to provide resources to independent developers. This meant that our customers consisted of developers and internal Amazon teams that provided APIs and libraries for developers.
My work involved designing a tool to streamline the process of creating and updating automated messages that would be sent to developers to notify them of events (such as app approval or a problem filing taxes). The previous method was tedious, required programming knowledge, and was error prone. The new approach is more secure, easy to use for any Amazon employee, and has significantly more features.
